ON THE RIVER AT 801 SOPHIA STREET IN DOWNTOWN FREDERICKSBURG, VIRGINIA
Throughout the spring of 2013, the Fredericksburg Area Museum and Cultural Center
offered a special exhibit of recent paintings by our own Deacon Johnny P. Johnson.
Sunday morning, March 23, 2013, was our annual Palm Sunday celebration
with music and drama focused on the passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus.
During April 2013, Shiloh Old Site honored its many children and youth
with a variety of special programs and activities as part of Youth Week 2013.
On July 10, 2013, our youth prepared lunches at the church and then shared them during a fellowship picnic with visiting youth who were part of "Impact Virginia." That was followed by a trip to Carl's ice cream.
In keeping with our annual tradition, on Palm Sunday 2013, we commemorated
the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus through an inviting mix of music and drama
Each summer our Community Wellness Coalition invites area youth to participate in a free,
week-long golf camp in memory of Squirrel Grimes. Members of Shiloh Old Site do the coaching.
On April 6, 2013, Shiloh Old Site celebrated its annual Youth Sunday, with many
of our children and youth playing prominent roles in the 11 a.m. worship service.
Shiloh Old Site celebrated and honored its youth during the first week

Area youth received instruction from members of Shiloh Old Site
during the Community Wellness Coalition's 2015 Squirrel Grimes Golf Camp
Shiloh Old Site welcomed a large number of children, youth, and adults
during the third week of June 2015 as part of its annual vacation Bible school
Shiloh Old Site hosted a large crowd on June 26, 2015, in the city's Riverside Park,
next to our church building, for our annual "Outback" picnic
Shiloh Old Site contributed a substantial number of participants
for Fredericksburg's annual American Cancer Society "Relay for Life"
