Boyd's Memorial Volunteer Chorus

Shortly after his arrival in Fredericksburg as pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church (Old Site), the Rev. Lawrence A. Davies organized a "volunteer chorus" that primarily sang gospel music and spirituals. The chorus was the primary choir that accompanied Rev. Davies during his speaking engagements at other area churches. Other photos of the group at other time periods can be seen below.
