Nathaniel (Nate) Hvizdos, a member of Shiloh Baptist Church (Old Site), has published a book of his rap-like poetry entitled Alms for the Poor. Each of the 88 “alms” reflects the struggle of a life troubled by the deep pains of this world. Yet each also reflects a life, like Nate’s own, that finds hope and strength in God.
