Although all of us at Shiloh Old Site mourn the loss of Grace Sprow’s caring spirit, melodious voice, and steady faith, we can’t help but give thanks for the many ways that she touched all of our lives — and the lives of so many struggling individuals through the Home Missions Ministry at Shiloh Baptist Church (Old Site) in Fredericksburg, Virginia. She was a rock that could help any of this world’s “weary travelers” stand just a little bit taller, no matter what “storm” was swirling around them.

Grace Garnett Sprow passed from labor to reward on Tuesday, October 6, 2020, leaving many to mourn her passing.

A socially distanced viewing will be held at A. L. Bennett & Son Funeral Home (309 Butternut Drive, Fredericksburg, Virginia) from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Thursday, October 13, 2020. A private burial will follow. A more public celebration of her life will be held at a later time.
