Lauren A. Davies Scholarship

For those who are either beginning or continuing a college or university education

If you are a member of Shiloh Baptist Church (Old Site) who is either beginning or continuing a college, university, or advanced vocational education, you may apply for a Lauren A. Davies Educational Scholarship. Your application and all supporting materials are due by May 15.

Your application must be submitted via the on-line form found below.

Applications are reviewed by a committee of Shiloh Old Site members. Awards are normally announced each year in June.

The selection criteria for this scholarship are as follows:

Active member of Shiloh Baptist Church (Old Site).
Completion of an accredited secondary education.
Acceptance as a beginning or continuing student at an accredited college or university.
A letter of recommendation from someone at a community organization through which you have provided volunteer service. (Click here to send a recommendation email to the scholarship committee. You can either type your letter of recommendation into the email or can attach your letter of reference in PDF or other standard format.)
Christian character and an orientation to serving others.
