Welcome our new Youth Director
Shiloh Baptist Church (Old Site) is thrilled to announce and celebrate the appointment of our new Youth Director, Malik Johnson.
Malik is no stranger to our church family. Many of us have had the privilege of watching him grow in faith and leadership, first as a student in our youth ministry and now returning to lead it with purpose and passion. His journey is a beautiful testimony of what God can do when we invest in the next generation.
In addition to stepping into this new role, Malik currently serves as a high school teacher. So he pours into the lives of students daily.
Malik’s experience in education gives him a unique connection to the hearts and challenges of today’s youth, and his calling to ministry allows him to lead with both wisdom and compassion.
Malik brings a deep commitment to “Building the Kingdom,” not just within the walls of the church but in the everyday lives of our young people. His vision for the youth ministry is to create a Christ-centered space where students can grow spiritually, discover their God-given purpose, and build lasting community.
His heart is to see students rise up as leaders, as difference-makers, and as disciples who boldly live out their faith in school, at home, and in the world. Malik’s passion for Kingdom work is contagious, and we’re excited for all that God is going to do through him in this next chapter.
Please join us in welcoming Malik Johnson into this role and join us in covering him, our students, and our youth ministry in prayer as we move forward together!

Welcome to a spiritually empowered haven of hope
Since 1854, we at Shiloh have tried to manifest the spirit of Christ, faithfully serving others as God’s liberating and transforming word. We’re located at 801 Sophia Street, on the river in downtown Fredericksburg, Virginia 22401.
Our historic building on the river in Downtown Fredericksburg is badly in need of exterior repairs and renovations to protect our ability to continue serving as a beacon of hope for all who are in need of Christ’s love and grace. The cost of the work is likely to be in excess of $175,000. We invite you to contribute to this project. Specially designated online gifts can be entered by CLICKING HERE.
